Social Skills Groups
Small group music therapy with a focus on supporting social interaction between peers.
Music therapy uses music as a tool to support growth in non-musical areas, such a social skills, communication skills, sensory integration, emotional recognition, etc.
Music interventions could include hello/goodbye songs, therapeutic singing and instrument playing, musical games, singable books, improvisation, etc.
10 week sessions- 45 mins in length
Small groups of 3-5 children/adults similar in age
$40 per session
Funding through DDA, such as LISS funds and self-directed funds, as well as HSA/FSA cards, credit cards, checks, and cash can all be used to pay for music therapy services.
